I've been band over a month and a half im starving more then on the pre op. Diet what can I do my dr won't be in until December 2nd I've only gained a pound but still

Oh man... I feel your pain. I'm SOOO hungry and am not receiving my first fill until 12/17 :-/ I've just been trying to stick with a high Protein low carb diet.

I've read on other boards that during this time, surgeons are prescribing a low does of adipex, which is an appetite suppressant. I have a follow up tomorrow and think I'm going to ask about it.

I was band on Oct tenth. Lately I fill horrible. I may ask about that also. I get my first fill on the second.

Kinserj did your dr give you the small amount of adopted?

Yes!! I'm taking half of a 37.5 mg tablet, and depending how I do, will increase to the whole pull within the next week. It has helped SO MUCH!!! I actually lost weight over thanksgiving!! I highly recommend asking if your doctor would be ok with this approach

Great I think I will tomorrow im gaining and still starving protein is helping but not much..im working fifty hours a week dk why im even hungry..lol

I am starting to feel much more hungry than the last 4 weeks. Was banded 11/4. Going for first fill 12/3. Hoping for some relief

My dr wouldn't do adipex or a fill bc my port is infected...great set backs set backs

Oh no! How long do you have to wait for a fill?

He said he's not sure. Well see what it looks like next week..possibly have to replace the port

I'm so sorry to hear that... well, I guess the infection is indicative of how crappy you've been feeling Hope everything improves for you and you don't have to have the port replaced.
