Pain in stomach and belching/gas for first week

Did anyone have a real ache in the pit of their stomach, in the center just under the bra line for the first coupl of weeks after surgery. I get it especially when I get nervous, anxious, busy and tired. It really aches. I also feel like I need to belch and hav esome gas. I am not sure if it is because my stomach is so empty and it just aches and creates gas or what. Does anyone else or did any one else have that problem? What do you do about it?

Most likely it is gas, the more you walk and drink water the better you will be. It takes a while to get it all out of your system. If it keeps hurting I would call your doctor and ask him/her.
