  • Popular Post

I was 3 weeks post-op yesterday and today the first ill-fitting clothes hit the charity bin.

How good did that feel..?? :D

You will so enjoy your first closet flush........for me it was a very emotional experience. One thing to keep pushing you forward in your journey is to get rid of the discards immediately so that there is no looking back. If they are too good to throw out, there is always charity, a homeless shelter, or posting on this forum so that someone coming down to that size may be interested.

congrats

Congratulations! :)

So happy for you. :D I've become a seasoned thrift store shopper. I decided not to spend a lot of money replacing clothes with a smaller size and a short time later, replacing the clothes recently purchased.

Blessings,

Kathleen

You were wearing someone else's clothes -- they belonged to the former you. Congratulations on entering the next phase of your life.

It does feel great to see the clothes shrink in size, well done.

I have kept one pair of trousers and a top from when I was at my heaviest just so I can look back and see just what I have achieved and a reminder that I never want to go back there.
