I met with my surgeon Dr. Ramanathan at Magee-Women's Hospital of UPMC on Friday. Now here comes all of the pre-op diagnostics and tests. As soon as I get them complete, insurance submitted, my OR time will be scheduled. Have UPMC insurance everyone tells me they are easy, we shall see...Excited and nervous all at the same time! Here's to a new me and a healthier life!

I have the same doc! I am seeing him in two weeks and am VERY very nervous. I also have UPMC and have been worrying that they will reject me. I am attending the Weight loss class at Magee each month.
