Call. Your. Surgeon. Now.

You simply have to have more than 10oz of Fluid per day.

My protein shakes taste like crap to me too. Tasted great before surgery. You are only a few days out. Let your doctor know you are struggling. I could only get 15-20 oz down per day. They said that would be ok in the beginning for me but your doctor knows your health and needs. It DOES get better. It is VERY hard the first week. Do not beat yourself up. Do your best, drink very slowly, and rest all the time. You will make it.

I am trying to learn the whole sip the water thing but it's hard I use to be a water chugger and that's what I always want to do. So I'm using the medicine cap again to make sure I'm drinking one oz at a time. I know this a life style change but it has to get easier right? My pain meds are making me super sick and I do not want to use them but need them. What kinds of pain meds did you all get pills or liquid? What kind of liquid? What kind of pills?

Ive been reading all the posts where everyone talks about pain. I had a completely zero pain or discomfort surgery 5 days ago. The only pain I felt was the needle they put in for anesthesia.

I am a 9/30 sleever too. Hang in there. powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury unflavored Protein is great mixing with things you do like the taste of.

@@mmeher1963 - I too have had minimal pain/discomfort, mine was only in the recovery room. Today is the only day I have felt exhausted and dizzy but I think I did it to myself by going to my sons banquet and staying too long.
