XL Coats available in Denver

Recommended Posts

I have several XL coats available if anyone needs them. A ski coat, "puffy" coat (good for every day winter wear...not snow or frigid temps), a black shell, a hooded coat and a really nice brown coat from Orvis that I am actually pretty sad to lose...super warm, super comfy and way too big :( This is the only coat I may sell....bought it for $150, am going to ask $40 http://www.orvis.com/orvis_assets/prodimg/9E7KHMcoffee.jpg

I will probably donate most or all, but thought I would see if any of you fine people need a smaller coat this winter!

And, on that note! I am in search of size medium winter outerwear! While I am loving my weightloss, my pocketbook is screaming at me! I live in Denver, so a good ski coat and shell are required...but I just can't face the $200-$400 price tag!

I've got an expensive leather winter jacket, very slimming. It's a 2x. I tried it on a few days ago, and it wrapped around me twice!!! It's freezing now in New York, so I'm just wearing three hoodies when I go out.

I thought I commented on here before but I don't see it lol. Anyhow. I'm interested in your winter coats! Do you have any pics of them that you can post or email me? Would you be willing to ship them? I live in Wisconsin, 53227 zip code. How much do you think shipping would cost me? Thanks! You can message me here or at norestrictions08@gmail.com

Hi Jen!

I have attached pictures here! A lot if black, big it goes with everything :) the ski coat is purple, not over the top, and definitely better than the picture shows....I may retake during the daytime.post-202610-14126512041479_thumb.jpg post-202610-14126512140796_thumb.jpg post-202610-14126512252228_thumb.jpg

I have no idea on postage costs, but will do a little research tomorrow.

Let me know if any of them might work for you!post-202610-14126510671243_thumb.jpg

Thanks! I could use the ski jacket and the 2 lighter weight ones. I know the post office has those flat rate boxes. I'm not sure of they all would fit in one of those though, I don't remember how big they get. Please let me know, how much and I'll send it to you. Thanks again!

Sorry! Yes, they are! I put them aside for you but have totally dropped the ball on looking up postage (this is why I could never be an ebay seller!!) I will explore the USPS site now, though, because of work, I don't think I could get to the post office until Saturday.

Will touch base shortly :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
