3 day post op and PAIN!!

I was banded on Friday May 4th and have had issues with gas in my shoulder, in the front, not the back. I have walked and taken gas ex but this is so painful that I still have to take pain meds. The area where I had surgery seems fine and isnt really painful at all its just this darn shoulder. I seem to be pretty swollen and its painful to take a deep breath. I am running a low grade fever and just feeling horrible. Any suggestions? Thanks

Susan

Well I feel a lot better. Day 5 much better then day 3. Learned that it is better to sleep flat then in a recliner despite a little more pain if I roll. Did the Mothers Day Walk this AM, took the kids out this afternoon and making a dinner for my family tonight. Not hungry but a bit bored. Really think I am going to need to keep myself very busy in order to break the old habits. Think I will work on garage this week.

Hope you all are doing well and found a way to celebrate Mothers Day as a Mother and/or a person who had one. (I think that covers everyone)
