I woke up today feeling great and for the first time no reminders of my surgery. It is important to take the time to recuperate this isn't a race to the finish line. This is the start of a new way of life.

I wish I felt positive like you. I think your attitude is great! I feel so negative right now. I had my lap band on 8/27/14 and feel hungry all the time. I do fine all day long and then night time comes and all I want to do is snack. I had gotten down to 213 and I'm up to 216. I have not had a fill yet and I know what is happening to me is typical and expected even, but I feel like a failure that I can't control myself more. :(

I have an appt on 9/30 so hopefully the doctor is willing to give me a fill.
