Good luck today Beni. You have been waiting for this day for so long. It seemed so far away in the beginning of October and now is here and has come by faster than expected. Can't wait to hear from you and the other Gladiators later today!

I feel you there. Day 11 of a stall, I assume. I haven't weighed myself because I'll get depressed. I'm not going to weigh in until Thursday which will make 2 weeks if a stall if I don't lose.

@@Buffer I can imagine how pissed off you feel about " no weight loss" I was told that once you. An get both your Water & Protein in the weight lost will catch up. Last week I could barely get a 1/2 bottle of my Protein shake in and 20 ounces of Water but I noticed I lost inches. Yesterday I got 48 oz's of water & 2 shakes in. And I got into a smaller size pant an 18 today.

It's gonna happen & for you the loss will probably be BIG. Hang in there!

Keep in mi

There will be NO failure! I've got that same thought in the back if my mind, hard to get rid of as I'm a band to bypass convert. However, MAJOR difference: we all have so much love, support, prayer and good listening skills for each other! That alone will make a difference and we will all lose and maintain together! (I used way too many exclamation points)

I know until you wake up in recovery you still don't feel like you've actually done anything. It's almost dreamlike.

Just started my prep. Fun fun! I have to be at the hospital at 11am tomorrow and surgery is at 1pm. Very nervous, scared, excited. I have been crying off and on for 3 days.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
