Are you taking your pain meds regularly? I have no idea if I would have been in pain for the first 4 days or so because I took my pain meds every 4 hours on the dot whether I needed them or not. Where is your pain? Is it gas pains - they can take a few weeks to dissipate, walking helps.

I try to take them but It comes back up ....I walk alot but it dont help me much

You had a gastric bypass, I would call your drs office to see if the pain are experiencing is normal. I was told the first 2 weeks are when you need to watch out for a leak so I would call since you are only 4 days out. It might be perfectly normal but better safe than sorry.

@@yerrika did you have a sleeve (like your forum thread says) or a bypass like your (profile says)? it may make a difference......

Hi Yerrika,

Congrats on your sleeve, I was sleeved on August 27th and I can tell you that I was in the same boat, I had the worse pain at my incision points. I dealt with really bad nausea as well, are you one anti- nausea meds? Those helped me from vomiting things back up. I was in tons of pain and it just eased up a week ago.

I suggest that you keep walking around, I know it doesn't seem like it helps but it really does. Also, let your surgeon or the on call know that your pain meds won't stay down. It will definitely get better, best of luck to you
