Sorry for all of the horrible typos...I hope my post is understood. If not I will be happy to clarify. For some reason my edit button isn't working on my tablet.

Have you ever considered Vitamin therapy (via IV)? I'm researching it now myself but might be something you want to consider if you can't stomach the chewables.< p>Also-- Congratulations to everyone who got dates and is going home! Yay!

Hey, thanks for responding. No, I've never considered it, I will look into it, definitely! Thanks so much!

Hello everyone, I haven't posted anything in a very long time. I was sleeved on September 29, 2014. At the time I was 285, so far I have lost 68 pounds. My body must have reached a plateau, I haven't lost anymore weight. I have tried walking but due to having feet issues I am not able to walk very long. After s few minutes, they start to hurt. Currently I am in a cast for the next 5 weeks due to a stress fracture in my right foot. I do try to drink Water but some days it's not easy. At my job I am on the phone constantly. Other than that I feel good since I have lost weight, I am so glad I made the decision to have the surgery. I am happy with size I am currently. I haven't been this size in 28 years, that was before I gave birth to my third child. I will be 56 this year and enjoying my life, in spite of the cast, lol.

Yes I do! I track everything I eat with myfitnesspal. I eat about 650 calories a day (my nutritionist advised between 500-900). I'm getting between 70-90g of protein everyday.

Perhaps you need to UP your calorie count for awhile. shake things up a bit. In a week I'll be one year out. I have warbling between 165-172 since last November weigh-in. I went to Las Vegas a week ago and didn't track anything. Came back home and started doing no sugar, or junk food etc. I also did not weigh myself when I came back until today. My weight today is down 10 pounds from the week before the trip. I have renewed energy and feel much better. I know I was obsessing over the numbers on the scale. Just a thought, talk to your NUT about it.

I'm 5 weeks out and 36lbs down. I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing because it's working for me. Thank you though.

Has anyone tried ScarFade to get rid of their incision scars? How soon after did you start using? What has worked for you?

My doctor suggested Vitamin e oil. I used that at first. All of mine are almost invisible. The one that is dark is dark because they cut right a cross a huge stretch mark. I am going to try bio oil it. Also I used silicon strips, they helped a lot. Not just with fading and healing but also protecting them from clothes and bra.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
