I'm having my surgery in Ohio, but my date is October 13! You are the only other person I have seen with that date =)

I am not required to do a preop diet-just can't eat 12 hours beforehand! Have you started yours yet? How long will you be in Mexico?

You must have low bmi not to have a preop mine is 5 days of high protein then 2 days clear liquid. Ill be there 4 days but will stay in san diego for a few more days just incase. I live in alaska a long travel. Im doing band to sleeve. Band was not working out for me anymore lost 60 pounds so im moving on with the sleeve. Mostly its because i want to get pregnant that i resorted to sleeve. I had 3 unsuccessful ivf's already.

My BMI is about 43. That is a long way to travel! I think it's smart to stay in San Diego for a few days. I'm sorry to here about your unsuccessful pregnancies. It took us months and several rounds of clomid to get pregnant, and I remember how devastated I was every time (pretty much everyday) I had a negative test. I hope that the sleeve is a miracle for you in that aspect.

Yes it has been a super emotional 2 years of my life. Deciding to do this was my last resort before going to another rounds of ivf and 40k. Its really not so much of the money but how hopeful and emotional i get for each try. Good that you are successful with clomid did that but didnt work for me.

Good that insurance will pay for your surgery my insurance will not cover since i dont have other health issues. How long are you staying in the hospital i have read some are out patient i would be scared.
