How are u doing? Hope ur well. Im good super excited for the pureed diet tomorrow. Im bad with my protein drink so i cant wait to eat regular food to be able to eat my protein. My woulds are drying up and no discomfort now. Still trying to take it easy. Tomorrow im going to start to walk more. Are u starting your gummy vitamins i will start tomorrow since today is my 2 weeks post our clinic said start the next day after each week. I have lost 16lbs. Im happy!

Good to hear that. When do you get back home? Im good trying to sip Sip sip. Dont sleep really well but its expected. Didnt take my pain meds after wednesday.

Oh my gosh i was at 404. We didnt even get cross path even when walking around. How are u doing? Are u at the hotel now? Im back in the states back in the comfort of our cali home. Still dont feel 100% well im ok. Doing the laundry and trying to get hydrated.

Im here at the hospital now doing my preop before heading to the hotel. Everything is good so far.

Im nervous as well but trying to shake it off. My first day of the clear diet its hard but hanging on. On my way to tj tomorrow. When do u leave? We all have that kind of worry traveling. You will be ok we all will.

Hello! Ill be doing the band to sleeve in tj on monday and my bmi is 34. My start weight will be 180. Im nervous but excited. When and where is your surgery?

Yes it has been a super emotional 2 years of my life. Deciding to do this was my last resort before going to another rounds of ivf and 40k. Its really not so much of the money but how hopeful and emotional i get for each try. Good that you are successful with clomid did that but didnt work for me. Good that insurance will pay for your surgery my insurance will not cover since i dont have other health issues. How long are you staying in the hospital i have read some are out patient i would be scared.

You must have low bmi not to have a preop mine is 5 days of high protein then 2 days clear liquid. Ill be there 4 days but will stay in san diego for a few more days just incase. I live in alaska a long travel. Im doing band to sleeve. Band was not working out for me anymore lost 60 pounds so im moving on with the sleeve. Mostly its because i want to get pregnant that i resorted to sleeve. I had 3 unsuccessful ivf's already.

I can totally relate to you. I too will have my surgery in tijuana on oct. 13th 5 days after my 38th bday with dr. Valenzuela at hospital mi doctor through mexico bariatric. Have had 3 failed ivf's and my main reason for getting sleeved is to hopefully get rid of my pcos and get pregnant naturally. I was banded in 2007 lost 60lbs and it stopped working for me. So now im at 175'ish and 5'2 with super low self esteem. I want to feel good too. Im tired of shopping and finding nothing to wear everyday because it all doesnt look good. Im excited and scared as all of us are but my best friend will come with me to take care of me and help me through it. Im most scared of the preop, leak test and drain removal more than surgery itself. Good luck to us. We can do this!

Chellede - ill wait as long as healthy to try naturally. My nk cells are also high so i need do infusion to keep elevated so hopefully with the weight loss and that ill get pregnant. Why i chose revision to sleeve? The band is not working for me have been stuck to 175'ish for 2 years now and I'm 5'2 with bmi of 34. Im scared yet very excited. What I'm most excited for is to feel sexy to want to try naturally. I have such low self esteem that i dont want to even try a lot of times. ????????

Chellede - buddy! Im so glad to i found someone almost same age that i can relate in regards to failed ivf and praying sleeve will work its magic. Good luck with your insurance. Because my surgery is self pay i have just been coordinating with mexico bariatric's coordinator who lives here in the states. My doctor wants me to start preop a week before and once i get to tijuana all my test will be done day of surgery. Im also having my band taken out so its a revision.
