Protein, water and vitamins intake. Day 5 post op HELP

Hello

I have been following up and reading as many threads as I can but somehow I can't figure out how to get the Protein in or how to calculate how much I am taking in. I was sleeved last Thursday( 8/21 I understand I cannot drink more than 4 oz of Water or broth at a time. The unflavored protein that I got is 27 gr of protein but the measuring spoon is too big to dissolve in any 4 oz of liquid. I did purchase a couple bottles of Isopure, could that substitute the water? Is 40gr of protein per bottle.

Thank you so much for reading, any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

It's a constant sipping throughout the day. If you're awake, you're sipping something. I use Isopure, it counts towards fluids and Protein. Also, you can dissolve your protein in 8 oz of fluids, drink some and put the rest back in the fridge. Sip some more, put it back. Whatever you have to do to keep a constant trickle of fluids through your system.

Can you talk to your NUT about the issues you are having? I was given very detailed paperwork outlining exactly what I could have for the first 6 weeks following surgery.

In the beginning I kept a small thermos of broth and one of decaf tea because it would get cold before I could drink it all. My sleeve still doesn't like cold liquid. Good luck!
