Bless you. You are living testament to how difficult this whole situation hands. I struggle every day. I'm not anywhere near my goal weight but I am 64 pounds closer than I was. I'm impressed with how much exercise you can't, I've never been a runner I'm never desired to run but I want to be healthy. Wish you nothing but happiness and success bless you sweet one.

Thank you so much for your sweet reply! I wish you lots of luck as well! I see in your username you're in Texas. What area do you live in? I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area!

Give ur self a big hug!! U look amazing giving me hope for next yr. I'm 7 wks out 55 down..I'm 50 an have had a weight issue since I was 18! I was forewarned about the mind an body image after this surgery. We are soo used to seeing ourselves differently. .I was also told by my psych that it's pretty normal an that most ppl need some talk therapy to finally adjust to new you image. I've never ran, I hate the thought of it..haha..but try an luv what u have already accomplished. .if ur below ur goal go enjoy the new u an don't worry about it!! Congrats! ! If u go any lower to b honest it would b a bit much..healthy is wat should b the goal an ur there!! Plz don't take this wrong..u look awsome! ! :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
