  8. I had my sleeve done when I was 22. Best decision of my life! You will do great!
  9. Be proud of yourself for wanting to correct the problem! You are clearly a very strong woman and I know you will get back on track. You are not a failure. You are a success. Go back to basics with lots of protein and you'll do great. I gained 10 pounds back and it killed me to step on the scale and feel that again so I know how you feel. I have faith that you'll continue to lose!
  10. You look wonderful! Congrats on your hard work!
  11. Hi Mimi, I started exercising after a couple months. Started out light since my body was still in sort of a recovery state. Now I work out regularly. Probably 4 times a week average.
  12. I had my VSG in May 2013 and I have lost 114 pounds! Best decision I have ever made and I love my sleeve! Good luck with your journey!

  14. Thank you! "Normal" is definitely a great feeling!
  15. Thank you! You'll be there before you know it!

  17. Today the doctor weighed me and I officially have a normal BMI! Such a huge victory for me! I'm now down a total of 114 pounds!
  18. Thank you so much for your sweet reply! I wish you lots of luck as well! I see in your username you're in Texas. What area do you live in? I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area!
  19. My general practitioner said he is concerned with my desire to keep losing weight. He said if I lose another 10 lbs and still feel like I need to lose more, than he wants to see me again to evaluate to body image issue. I just feel like I need to lose so much more. I am going to talk to a therapist soon though. And thank you very much for the compliment!
  20. Some days I think "wow! I look awesome!" Then the next day or even an hour later I see every ounce of fat and imperfection. I'm proud of what I've accomplished thus far but I can't stop seeing how much more I need to loose. I just keep thinking 20, 30 more pounds.

  22. Thank you everyone for y'all's kind words! I'm thinking of getting some counseling for the issue. I really want to enjoy my new body as much as possible.
