New to page awaiting gastric sleeve

New to this page I am currently awaiting gastric sleeve surgery on 9/17/14!! I am so excited to get to "living" life. I have three children. A six year old that will be 7 this week!! I had a son in 2011 that was born at 24 weeks and did during delivery and he is my angel baby! And I have a 6 month old miracle baby!! I have been over weight most all my adult life. I am tried of being tired....I even had my 6 year old convinced when he was little that I would melt if I went outside so that I did not have to go out and play with him becuase I knew I could not run and play with him. I am so anxious and excited to get this done!!

Aw, your story about convincing your son that you would melt if you went outside just breaks my heart. Thank goodness you are on a path to a healthier life now and you will be able to go outside and play with your new baby!

The really good news is that after you have your surgery you will reach your goal in no time. What better exercise is there than finally being able to run around after your 3 active kids? Good luck.
