100 lbs gone in less than 6 months! Below goal weight!

Recommended Posts

Congrats. I had my surgery about a week after yours, but still have 25 pounds to go to hit my goal. It looks and sounds like the first part of the journey has been relatively easy for you, so hopefully the big next step of maintenance will be just as easy.

Thanks! It has been really easy for me. I'm very very lucky. I was throwing up for awhile there in the middle even when I was eating right. I'm hoping the maintenance is easy. I'm a little worried now to lose more weight.... I don't want to be too skinny (never thought I'd say that lol) and my doctor said I will keep losing still over the next year (18 months total).

It's ok to not have met your goal yet. Keep up with it and you will. Remember everyone is different. It also depends on where you started at and many other factors. Keep up the great work!! :)

You look wonderful! So happy for you. I had RNY almost 4 years ago and have been very happy with results as well. I have started a site of my own offering inspiration and information to others who are considering WLS or who had it and just need some encouragement. It would great if you would hare your story on my site. Thanks and continued success

You look wonderful! Congratulations. I had RNY about 4 years ago and have good success as well. I am very happy I decided to have gastric bypass surgery. I started a site of my own to offer information and inspiration to others who are considering WLS or have had it and need a little encouragement. It would be great if you would share a little of your weight loss story on my site. I am always looking for inspirational weight loss stories to be shared there. Thanks for your consideration and continued success.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
