  11. Anyone in southwestern pa?
  12. Kookichu Hi It has been a while since checking in on 11/7 I will be 3 months out . Once started at 267 at surgery 250 now 202 . I was size 22/24 , 3 & 4xl shirts now 16 , and xl shirts what an amazing feeling . I can relate to your tailbone issue omg it can be quiet painful at times . I seem to have more energy now then prior to surgery . I am slowly able to tolerate more the only thing I'm having issues with is beef . I can eat it if smothered in gravy but otherwise it just stick regardless of how much I chew . My liquids are main issue I always have bottle of Water but to drink it in an hour still is hard for me . I return to Dr . On 11/18 I am pretty happy with my loss so far . I was at a standstill for about 3 weeks . It finally went from 214 down to 202 so glad that is back on its way to weightless . I'm going to much hanging skin but my benefits are far better . Take care I will keep you updated after appointment .

  14. Thank you so much for your reply I will check into "curves" and see if we can financially do it . I try to eat 6 small meals but most of the time my day doesn't allow.
  15. Ok so today I just went to dr found I have white cells and blood in urine which could explain as to why my back has been hurting . The real kicker is I have been having a rough time getting 64 ounces of fluid and now I have only lost 3 more lbs . Yes it's 3 closer to my goal weight but discouraging that it's only 3 lbs . Any suggestions to me to continue ?
  16. Wow you look amazing . Can I ask how or what you did once you started to level out and not loose anymore ? I have lost 50 lbs and now it's coming off slow . I am only 5 weeks out and am trying to get in my 64 ounces but sometimes it's very hard . Should I be more concerned with my protein intake at this point ? Any advice would be greAtly appreciated.

  18. I was never so relieved to be home also . I have a chihuahua , 5 children and my husband . It was nice to have them help mom for once lol . They still try to say mom you shouldn't be doing this yet . Do I just google "up band "?
  19. Wow you are bruised congrats on going for a mile walk that is awesome . I have yet to walk that distance . Good luck glad to hear your going home and having a great day !!
  20. Soft foods seem to be working ok . I am however having some issues with low back pain I'm thinking possible bladder kidney stones which I have had in the past I'm hoping not . They say trust "your gut" mine says stones . This is not what I need at this point . I'm having a hard time distinguishing fullness . I get pain between my shoulder blades not into my chest so I am just going with that . I am not wanting to "dump". Other than these couple issues and stress things are looking up . Just right now it's very hard not to allow the stress to take over !! I was an emotional eater before surgery and so this is the true test and so far I have am "A" . So please keep me in your prayers that I remain strong and get through this bumpy ride . I never said it was going to be easy as others think . I'm just asking for continued strength because I can do this !
  21. @@InspirationMySon that incision will be the most tender and will take a while longer to heal . I had a burning sensation on the inside of my stomach when it was healing . I know the protein shake was thick for me also . I am a month of and am still working up to my 64 ounces of water a day . It all takes time feel better . Wishing you a speedy recovery .
  22. @@InspirationMySon the has pain will get better with the more movement you do . Honestly it does get easier however right now it seems like eternity til that happens . You will feel better healing at home just remember go slow your healing .
  23. I'm glad that your doing well . I was discharged and home by 1030 am the next day . I felt so much better being home healing . Goodluck and keep me posted .
