I tried the chicken Soup right after surgery and did not like it. Its worth trying again. I have found my tastes have changed since those first few weeks. I tried the unflavored in a bottle of flavored Water I felt it had a horrible after taste but I should probably try again. I found out if I heat up the milk and try to drink the unjury chocolate I like the taste BUT it doesn't mix very well and the chunks make me sick.

Eating and drinking have been a huge struggle for me.

I have not had any Protein supplements in about 4 weeks. I have been trying to get my Protein from food but not getting any were near enough. I agree I was able to do the chicken soup UNTIL I bought the whole tube now I can't stand it. I bought 4 Quest Bars and lost them (I suspect my little ones found them). I have decided that there is no way in the world that I was getting 80-100 gms of protein with my old eating habits so I refuse to stress over nasty protein supplements.< /p>

Have you tried heating it a little after you mix the milk with the powder?

How far out are you? I'm 8 weeks today and find that I can drink Water like a fish and eating is much easier than the first few weeks (1-5)

I was 8 weeks on Tuesday. I am getting better but still cannot eat or drink like I am supposed to. I am afraid I won't lose if I don't get the Protein in, Right now I am getting between 400 and 500 calories. How many are you eating?

No I didn't try heating it after but I did think about trying it. That stuff is just so expensive I hate to keep wasting it!

I stopped tracking about a week ago and I was between 600-700. Are you losing or have you stalled? I'm don't think I'm eating enouch calories. I don't weight myself so I don't know if I should increase my intake but I eat when I'm hungry.

Give it a try. unjury should not be heated over140 degrees or it will clump. I agree it is very expensive but you are worth it and if you dont try it you will never know (just one cup)

I weigh myself obsessively, wish I could stop! I am still losing but much slower then I was. I was losing a pound a day. Now its a pound every few days.

I am worried that I am not getting enough but the Dr said as long as I don't get dizzy I am fine. I eat when I am hungery also it is usualy just half of a light yogurt or something about the same calorie wise when I eat.

Can't wait for this journey to get easier! Do you ever wish you hadn't done it? I did all the time at first now just like once a week. I am looking forward to the day when I can say it was the best decision I ever made.

I did have a lot of regret in the begin now I don't think about it. I eat normal food but just a lot less maybe 1/4 to 1/3 cup. I am so afraid to become obsessed with the scale that I stay away from it. I wont be weighed again until the end of August (last time was around July 7th). Although there are times when I want to know my weight, I hid the scale now I can't find it.

HAHAHA I would so go buy a new one! I weigh every morning and every night. Even if I didn't want to my husband religiously asks me. He is just trying to be supportive but its annoying when the scale hasn't moved and he asks.

I want to try the new chips, but I have a feeling they'll be a slider or trigger food for me. I didn't have a "thing" for chips before, so I don't know..

It's amazing that they're managing about 22gr protein/140 calories. Super impressed!

Well if you are fine without weighing then maybe you shouldn't. I wish I was!

I'm a big fan of Quest bars. I always order them online from www.QuestNutrition.com, becuase the few times I purchased some at a GNC store they were dry-ish... kinda stale. The ones I get online are never that way.

So I was placing yet another online order a couple of days ago and noticed the new chips... and ordered some of those too. When I've tried them I'll post about it.

And the carb count of the bars - net 3 gms per bar. That's the only carbs I'm eating these days.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
