Recommendations for a better tasting protein supplement?

Recommended Posts

@@astalsby here's a link to an earlier post I did with places to buy samples:

http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/307990-need-names-of-good-protein-powder/?p=3476426

Another good place to get Protein Powder samples that I forgot about when doing that post is Vitalady:

https://vitalady.com/protein-supplement/

Just click on the brand of Protein you want then pick out "individual sample" of whatever flavor interests you.

I cant stand the shakes for Protein. I found pouches you drop into Water bottles called Pro2Go. I bought lemonaide and orange. They are both really good and 10 of protein for each one. You are killing 2 birds with one stone. Water and protein.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get samples/individual packets?

Nashua Nutrition

http://www.si03.com

Syntrax has a special on samples -- 15 packets for $14.99 plus < $2.00 for shipping. Order by phone only. The phone number is (866) 333-7403.

0007431244320_150X150.jpg okay, update again, I'm using this one now, and it actually tastes pretty good and is available at Walmart! Comes in chocolate, strawberry, Cookies and Cream, vanilla, and chocolate Peanut Butter. So far though, I've only been brave enough to try the plain chocolate. (lol)

Just a reminder on all these Protein supplements to check the TYPE of Protein that is in it. Protein isolate is the one most absorbable. If you do a search on this site, you'll be able to identify which Proteins don't help at all in achieving your protein requirements.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
