Has anyone had surgery at Loma Linda? Does anyone here have UHC West for insurance? I called UHC and they told me that all I needed was a BMI over 40? Is this true? Please advise. I'm sure that the UHC question has been asked a million times but after thorough research I wasn't able to find the information that I was looking for? Is it according to my group plan? #ugh

I have a version of United Health Care in Nevada. I was just approved today. They told me back in May that as of July 1st, WLS complication/revision has to be treated as any other illness. I don't know if that was the reason, but I was approved in 2 days! My BMI is 38.9 but I have HBP on medication. Good luck!

Thanks for the response! I am attending a seminar tonight and the coordinator told me that I have to see the dietician for 3 months and that was my only requirement besides the regular stuff!! I hope she's right. Good luck on your journey!! ♥️
