  1. Thanks and I will def have that checked out! No hair loss or shedding so far but I have been really cold! Omg! I pray it's not that!
  2. Congrats Julia!
  3. I have been soooo moody it's crazy! My hubby said I seem really isolated since I had surgery but I think it's bcuz my tolerance is really low so I'd just rather be alone and not be bothered! Hopefully this passes for me and you as well!
  4. Congrats! You will do just fine! Stay positive and optimistic! ????
  5. I have been sticking to the same routine since week one! I've even started getting b12 shots well this week I missed my shot and I am extremely tired today all of a sudden! I guess that b12 is really helping me with energy after all! I am drinking 80-100 ounces of Water and I also get 80-90 grams of Protein in a day as well as a daily walk so it's not my fluids! ????
  6. I tried those isopure drinks bcuz I was tired of the milky drinks #yuck it was so awful and then I started feeling like I was getting a coat of something thick on my tongue! I discontinued those immediately! I make myself drink the pure protein I just blend it with a Greek yogurt! I am sick of them but I can tolerate it better with the Greek yogurt blended inside and served over some ice! Good luck in finding a protein that works for you! I think next week I may order the unflavored injury protein?
  7. Before and after not drastic but u can see a small difference? I can't really tell but hopefully in time! I'm still a rookie and it's still early for me!
  8. I am walking 5 miles a day (we have a inside cork inside of my job) that is 1 mile long and on my breaks I walk around it twice, I drink 80-100 ounces of water daily and 80-90 grams of protein a day. I was originally a vegetarian but I have added seafood into my diet. I eat eggs, and a piece of cheese for breakfast w a protein shake and dinner and lunch could be fish, shrimp ect w steamed veggies, quinoa ect. I can only have 2-3 bites so far. I try and eat every few hours? I take all of the required vitamins and papaya enzyme!
  9. I am 9 weeks out and down 45 pounds! 5'0 Highest weight 205 Surgery weight 200 Current weight 160 I thought I was a slow loser but I can't really complain! ♥️ I am feeling awesome and my journey has been amazing! No gas or nausea! #happy

  11. I was sleeved by Dr. Sergio Quinones!! He has the best team ever! I've maintained a great relationship with Stacy and Bill and they check on me often to see how I am doing! I actually speak 2 Stacy almost daily! I was sleeved 9 weeks ago and so far everything has been great! I had blood work done last week with my pcp and my labs are also great! I am 44 pounds down and I couldn't be happier! I am walking 4-5 miles a day everyday and I am consuming 80-90 grams of Protein daily. I thought I was losing slow but I really can't complain at all! I've never been happier! Dr. Q has a new facility and I hear it's really nice! (A few of my coworkers had surgery at the new facility)! His bedside manner was amazing and I begged him to let me go home early lol at first he was hesitant but he eventually said okay so I was there for 3 days instead of 4 lol!
  12. This is good 2 hear! I'll def be trying it and hopefully I don't get any gas.
  13. Hop back on your only human! You can do! Transform your mind! #goodluck
  14. It's sad that people can't support or listen without judging or assuming. I read your story on another forum and I do not think its BS and only because I know someone personally who used Almanza as a doctor as well and had a terrible outcome! Tell your story and don't be afraid of what others think! This is a support group!
  15. I had surgery 3-26-15 and I am 4 weeks out and 35 pounds gone! I don't feel any different? The only thing is now when I eat (just started eating) I feel some tightening in my stomach when I am full? I think that's what that means! But it has been a wonderful journey! No complaints at all!
  16. I am having the same issues! My dietician told me it could be mild acid reflux so I got Prilosec so I'll see if there's a difference? I am always so hungry though even though I can only have a few bites! & I have 90 grams of protein a day!
  17. Awesome post. #thanks
  18. What made u go 2 the dr and what made them give you a scan? Hopefully it's something that can be easily fixed.
  19. Still no word? It'll happen exactly when it is supposed 2! Keep your head up! Stay positive!
  20. What about Dr. Sergio Quinones? Why don't you guys support him?
  21. I would have loved 2 see a pic of this lol! I will be trying this recipe soon! Thanks!
  22. I'm going May 22nd! I will be back 2 normal lol sleeved 3-26! ????
