I made tomato soup and it was great...I made fresh tomato juice then added garlic powder, onion powder, salt n pepper and simmer it for 8 minutes then added skimmed milk (just 4 spoons) simmer it for another 10 min ..and voila

I am week three post op and have been feeling very bored with my foods.

Soups

Cottage cheese

Ricotta Cheese

Cream of Wheat

Yogurt

I've tried pureed chicken & gravy, refried Beans, pureed meatball and sauce but those foods are too thick and I feel very uncomfortable trying to get those down.

Today I ate an entire scrambled egg! It was so great to chew and swallow a bit of food and it did not get stuck or make me feel stuffed. It was one of the first times that I've felt totally satisfied without any discomfort after eating. I am super excited about this.

I've heard people say baked ricotta cheese with a little sauce is a good choice for the pureed stage, Also heard of people pureeing turkey Chilli which sounds interesting.

She has a million recipes for all stages. Ricotta bake is yummy. Like lasagna without the noodles. I whizzed mine with a little spinach and cheese and top with Pasta sauce.
