I was sleeved June 6 as well and I've lost 16 pounds the first 2 weeks. Just like you, I haven't loose any weight since then and yes, I'm frustated. I think I need to get more Protein in, and eat a little more. Today I ate 800 calories for the first time and had 60grs of Protein. I plan to continue this way and be patience until the scale moves again... Good luck to us! and hang in there, I know how this feels

@@dski Don't go by your FitBit. At this point you should be concerned about eating Protein and drinking Water (non caloric drinks). My plan suggests 1-2 ozs of protein every 3 hours while awake and increase to 3-4 ozs week 4. Track your protein and water intake. Don't worry about calories right now.

Hello there!!

I feel your pain I am in the same boat... I was sleeved 5/26 so about 1 month post op and I lost 22 pounds first week and a half and then a 2.5 week stall. I sought out advice here because surgeon said the same, so I recently increased my Protein and Clear Liquids, added a colace stool softener everyday( i go only every 10-12 days the Constipation sucks) and when I sit for a meal I only eat my Protein and 20 mins later if still hungry I eat my veggies or fruit. My NUT approved oatmeal and cereals at stage 5 but I cut 90% of CARBS and within the last week I am slowly loosing again. Oh, and I try to walk a lot more daily as well. Stalls are normal and my surgeon told me to weigh in biweekly and stay off the scale lol..

Good luck!

Focus on drinking your Water, getting in enough Protein and walking at least 30 minutes a day. This is your part the weight loss will follow. I went through the same thing at first and now I. Am down almost 80 lbs. [emoji4] Trust the process.

Dski the article posted by RickM was great. I would caution you not to do any weight lifting/strength training though until your surgeon clears you.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
