Enjoy the Clear now, after the surgery it's a little harder drinking , and you have to keep yourself hydrated, I had my surgery fri at 2:30 and came home the next day. I've been walking a lot and drinking small sips , if I had my way I would just stay in bed but that's not good, I'm a little sore I have my liquid Percocet in case of pain and burping and farting helps with gas, it hurts to burp but you are getting rid of has.. Good luck tomorrow btw I told my anesthesiologist that I was really nauseated the last time I was under so they gave me meds for that before I even woke up which was great, no nausea

Good luck to us all tomorrow! I am spending most of the day today with my husband and two toddlers, then a painting date with my best friend. I woke up crazily hungry today but am doing well otherwise. Must be at hospital at 5 am for 7 am surgery. I hope everyone's procedure is complication free and the recovery is smooth.

Good luck to y'all tomorrow! I was supposed to have my surgery done tomorrow, too, but complications with insurance & the surgery center have postponed it for a few weeks.

I made it through surgery just fine;)) was not nauseous. No gas pain. Was in some pain right after, but I'm on good pain meds and morphine button. No sign of leakage. Did the blue ice chips. They will have me do it again in the morning. I did get up and walked the halls before i came back to bed for the night. So all in all not bad at all. I will keep everybody posted. I hope all other 30th sleevers are doing good.

My surgery went well and I was home by 5 pm. The pain when I first woke up was excruciating. I think it was gas pain and it radiated all around me. Walking did help.

I have to go back at 12:30 today to have the drain removed. It has by far been the grossest and most annoying part.

Lastly one of my incision spots on the left is super swollen with a red circle around it... I am hoping that is not indicative of any issue :(

Hope everyone else is doing well! I'm glad to be on the other side!

I took the gas x strips when I had the gas pain. Walking seems to do the most to get rid of it though! Good luck!

Sitting up in a chair. Earlier I had my first bowel movement. The suppository the nurse put in last night did the trick. So that said, they said I would be able to go home later today. Still real sore. Stomach muscle. Can't wait for that to subside. Hope everybody is doing well.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
