Freaking out found out I have step today and scheduled to have surgery June 30th. Can't get ahold of my surgeons office till Monday. Has this ever happened to anyone? Praying that my surgery does not get postponed. What do you guys think?

I'm sorry to be the bearer if bad news but there's a big chance they will postpone your surgery date. I'm sure it depends on the specific surgeon and anesthesiologist --but I know that mine (through Kaiser) would not do it if someone has had any problem like that in the past 4-6 weeks. My friend was scheduled for surgery, got bronchitis a few weeks before, and his was postponed (also Kaiser). I hope this is not the case with you, but wanted to tell you so you can mentally prepare.
