YES very, very normal!!! That's why most drs tell you not to weigh yourself until you come in to visit them, in the beginning. Your body is bloated from the drugs in the hospital and other things that are done...it will dissipait soon...you need to be patient with yourself during this healing process! ;) I know...easier said than done...

Even tho you just have a few small scars on the outside, your insides are stitched up like Frankensteins monster  !!! It will take weeks to heal from the inside out.

Focus on your fluids, Vitamins, walk and relax...it won't be long before you start "melting" :D

I am still feeling better very bloated and have actually gained weight since my surgery . Is this normal???

Yes very normal. Prob from IV fluids. It will drop off soon. Just drink and walk for bloating

Warning. Constipation hit me 2 weeks out so take a stool softener daily. Drink drink drink
