i had my 1st fill yesterday and when i eat or drink anything - afterwards i have a bad after taste in mouth, i am just on liquids - what is this taste has anyone else had this

Does it come with the feeling that you need to burp? Weird question I know but when I get a fill and I get swollen from it I experience the burping thing along with a slightly weird taste for the first couple of days while the swelling goes down.

The taste may be because you are in ketosis. Ketosis is a stage in metabolism where the liver converts fat into fatty acids and ketone bodies which can be used by the body for energy. This happens during the first stages of dieting. It can give you a "metallic" taste in your mouth. It can also give you real bad breath. I carry sugar-free mints of gum at all times in my purse.

thanks - what you said sounds right, i have noticed that it has gotten better, i dont notice anymore restriction with my 1st fill than i did with no fill - i noticed that you have been very successful - what are some foods that you eat - i am not scheduled to get my 2nd fill until july - i think i will need one before then
