@Bratface1005: Hello! Yes. I feel the same way. I am not hungry in the morning nor by lunch. However, I eat in response to weakness. Now yesterday I had a boiled egg for Breakfast and then I did not eat again until dinner. However, after I ate dinner, about two hours later I was hungry again. It's a little annoying but I guess we just have to adjust to the changes in our digestive system and try to make sure we take in enough nutrients. My suggestion is, if you are still hungry that you eat something very low in calories. Plus, we are supposed to condition ourselves to eat six small meals a day when we are in the maintenance phase. So even if you are not hungry, eat on a schedule and see how that works.

Had my 6 week post op yesterday. They told me that the not wanting to eat in the morning is normal. But I need to force myself to eat as not eating will only make it worse. They are very happy with my weight loss.

Hi everybody! It's been awhile since I've touched base. How's everyone doing??? I'm down 45lbs, staying on program and only eating what I should and getting about 4 days of exercise a week. I have my energy back and thankfully I have not thrown up even once since surgery! I'm excited for continuation of our journey and our progress! Hope everyone is doing well.

Morning and thanks tiredmama for the 2 month aniversary reminder. It's wonderful watching the weight slowly disappear! I lost 32 lbs since the surgery and a total of 65 lbs since I started this journey. Yesterday, my husband and I rented kayaks and paddling around for a while--I wouldn't have been able to do that before surgery. Hope everyone else is during well.

10 weeks tomorrow! My progress is slower than I would like but I am trying to keep my spirits up and trust the process. Here are some photos from the day before surgery and now.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
