June 30th Surgery Date

Hi,

Looking to find some people have surgery around the same date as me! Hoping we can go through this process together and talk about our experience along the way!

Awesome! I'm glad there will be a group of us going through similar things around the same time! I'm 30 and from Nebraska! Anyone near by?

I'm in NYC and I'm 41 years old.

I'm in Ontario Canada. I'm 50. I start my preop diet tomorrow - I get sleeved June 30 by Dr. Pompa in Mexico.

I'd be happy to share my personal e-mail if everyone would like to start a support group.

@@mrbobb, I hope all is well and you're enjoying your day. How did your 3 hour pre op class go? You said you had a lot of questions, anything you can share with us? Thanks.

The pre op class was very good. The nutritionist was awesome. She basically went through all the things we'll be able to eat and how to prepare them up until our 3 week post op appointment. The servings sizes look like a thimble full of food. That scares me a little bit because it's like will I feel weak or sick etc. she assured me as long as I follow the plan nausea should be minimal. I'll see how that goes. I'm ready to take on the new way of life. I'm starting to plan now so I won't be freaking out the day I come home.

Looks like we have a new addition to the June 30th club- welcome @@madisonstarr !
