I just had surgery on April 25, 2014 along with 2 of my best friends. What a painful 2 weeks it has been! We are finally feeling better though. We get our first fill in 2 more weeks. So anxious to feel restriction & begin losing.

My surgery in February was very painful but I think it was mostly because I went home the same day. The port area has been the most problem... still. It is sore and for awhile I think I tore the muscle a bit. I was in agony and have been having to wear an abdominal split every day and night to support that area. I got my first fill yesterday. OMG... I didn't even feel it!!! Amazing!!!

I was banded two weeks before you. I was so miserable the first two weeks and I wondered what I had done to myself. Now that I am on regular food things are a lot better. That two weeks of pain is going to be worth it. There have been a few issues since, but nothing I haven't learned from (getting stuck/certain foods not agreeing). Congratulations though I am glad to see someone as excited about this as I have been, Good luck on your journey!

Congrats on your surgeries, ladies!

The first month or so can be tough, but believe me it gets easier! Fills are different for everyone. It took three fills for me to get to "green" and I'm one of those bandsters that has lost my appetite all together. You'll find our experiences are different but we all have a common goal...To lose weight and get healthy.

Best Wishes!

Wow this is all so interesting to me I get mine on the 27th. I wondered if the fill would hurt. ... my nerves are getting the best of me.
