Hello!

My name is Fatima. In July 2012 I had the lap band done. I was 245 pounds. In April 2014 I was 220 pounds. My lap band was not working for me. My doctor perfomed the Band to Sleeve revision on 04/24/2014. I hope this journey will be successful for me.

I should also note that while I live in the US, I don't have the insurance to cover for my surgeries. Thus, I traveled to Jordan and I had it done there. When I came back home to the US, I was going to a doctor in NJ for my lap band adjustments.

I had just one question about food options. I had my surgery one week ago and was told I can have pureed foods. What are some good options?

The diet plan that my doctor gave me didn't really give me many choices.

I hope everyone is successful in their journeys for losing weight. :)

I got some baby food, applesauce, blended smooth soups, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese (puréed in blender), pudding, protein shakes, I also try to add unflavored protein to everything.
