Are you having this issue at night? If you are experiencing a night cough you will want to follow up with your bariatric Dr. as you could be having reflux.

Reflux could also be the cause of wheezing as Fluid backs up into the airway. Give your doctor a call and follow up with your surgeon to determine that your symptoms are not the result of reflux.

Let us know how your doing!!

No not having any issues at night.

I've had the band for 7 yrs and no problems at all, thank God! :)

But about I started to notice that I get like a wheezing and the need to.cough to clear my throat. It just comes and goes out of no where. Sometimes it comes after I exercise, or sometimes it comes with out me doing nothing. I feel good, no pain no vomiting.

Was just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything like this during their yrs with the band.

Thanks :)
