Hey y'all, I was sleeved on 4/21 have lost 23lbs as of today (yes I'm that bad girl who weighs every morning) and I have PCOS. I got my period when I was 11 years old and lost it at age 15. I'm 36 years old now and only have my periods when it's brought on with a 10 day cycle of Provera meds. I haven't taken Provera in about 4 years though. My Gyno says my uterine wall is "getting thick again" so I will have to either take the Provera to get a period to shed the old blood, but my question is this: are any other ladies in the same boat as I am with no periods at all and have PCOS and have actually gotten their menses back after this sleeve surgery? My surgeon says it's very common, but I guess I just need to hear it from other sleevers. I like the fact of not having periods however it makes me feel less of a woman also, make sense?
