You must be super excited and feel like a new person those are great results. Fantastic job!!! Any tips? I'm scheduled for May 9.

I am two and half weeks post op and I have lost 21 pounds so far! What an amazing experience this is. I had lost 18 before surgery. So I have lost a total of 39 pounds! Hang on to your seat this is a wild ride! :)

I've been desperately waiting for this ride, your doing fantastic 40pds would make me look and feel totally different even though I would still have a lot more to lose, I know your super excited to see the changes, congrats, you have many wonderful things ahead!!

@@cushy, Great question- I love reading all of these responses. It's making me so excited for what's to come!!!

I'm 5 weeks today and have lost about 55 lbs. Started pre-op at 293 and now at 238. I'm a 6'0" 40 year-old guy....I saw my doc last Monday and he asked me if I was eating, he was a little concerned that I was losing too fast. BTW, it seems my man boobs (moobs) have grown, or are more defined. For you Seinfeld fans, I need a Bro!

I feel fantastic! My suggestion is to make the break from carbs during the preop phase and avoid them at all costs. Once you reintroduce the carbs those old cravings that got us in this mess will return as well. Also, find a good protein shake that you like and drink it religiously. Keep moving!
