At 3 months post op I lost 62.8 pounds. I'm now 7 months post op and have lost 114 pounds, 18 more until goal.

At three months post-op I was 43 pounds down from my surgery weight, 63 pounds down from my starting weight (I lost 20 pounds pre-op). I'm 10 months out and I have 3 pounds to go to get to surgeon's goal, 8 pounds to go to achieve my goal.

You're going to love your sleeve, maybe not at first, but it'll definitely grow on you once you learn to work it and see your amazing results! Good luck to you!

Thank you, and you've done a wonderful job!!! Congrats.

I've only lost 30 pounds :( I do get a lot of complements about how good I look now

30 pounds is still a great deal it would take me over a year to lose that. Congrats!!

Thank you! :-) I think the biggest things for me has been (1) knowing my limitations, and (2) sticking to my numbers. I've learned that while some people are fine eating small amounts of "unhealthy" foods now and then, I am not. I was an emotional over-eater/binge eater, and that is just too easy to slip back into. I have to be strict with myself and avoid altogether my trigger foods. Knowing yourself is SO important. It's a total reprogramming. Secondly, sticking to my numbers involves tracking my food. I count everything on myfitnesspal. My username is livvsmum if you want to friend me. I make all my food logs viewable. I try my best to stick to no more than 40g of carbs, at least 65-70g of Protein, and at least 10 8-oz glasses of Water per day. When I do that consistently, I see a loss. I also think exercise is super important, but that will be down the road a bit for you :-) Good luck to you, and trust me....if I can do it and be successful, anyone can!!! lol

This is great thank you so much for responding back, I know that when I see the pounds coming off that will be even more motivation for me to do the right things, limit carbs, get in Protein and drink plenty of Water is something that I will certainly make priority, thanks!!!! And again fantastic job!!!

I wonder the same thing. I had my sleeve on Feb 3rd and I have lost 40 lbs as of yesterday! Doing the happy dance for sure...but I feel like I see others who have lost so much more and wonder if I am doing something "wrong"

This is all really encouraging because I just got my surgery date of May 29 and 3 months later I'll be in Hawaii. I really wanted to look so much better on this trip and can't wait to burn major calories hiking and snorkeling. You are all so inspiring, thanks!

I just went and checked my lame chart that I keep and I was down exactly 60 lbs on the dot from my surgery date to the 3 month mark. Starting weight was 277 and I'm 5'7 (just for reference)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
