bathroom issues...This is a little embarassing

I have been on mushy foods for a week now. When I was on liquids I know it was liquids in, liquids out...but now on mushies its solids in and major difficulty coming out. I find myself pushing and then I feel searing (yet manageable) pains in my port area. Am I hurting my stomach or pulling stitches by struggling to have a BM? Should I start taking laxatives? Is this a bad sign???:omg:

I had to start taking "fiber choice" orange chewable tablets.

It does the trick and are delicious.

your band sister,

edie

I had the same difficulty! However, I increased my water intake, and ate soups that were mainly vegi... Cambells homestyle vegi soup blended was a lifesaver! It helped flush out everything. I wish you well!
