Just checking in with everyone. Hope all is doing well.

I am struggling with food. It seems like instead of having to deal with over eating I am dealing with under eating. Nothing taste good, have no desire to eat anything. If I could live on hot tea and Popsicles I would. It has nothing to do with the fear of gaining weight that really isn't a concern of mine. It has to do with I ate for enjoyment and comfort before surgery, now food doesn't bring either of these feelings. My doctor said it isn't a bad thing we should only eat for survival. It feels like I am always force feeding my body.

I have felt the signs of not eating too. Lightheadedness, grouchy, tired, shaking. I am trying to keep those feelings away some days it is harder than others.

Anyone else finding this struggle going on? What foods are you eating?

On the positive side 135 pounds gone. 40 pre-op 95 since surgery.

Hey everyone!!

How's it been? I've been feeling great, I lost a lot of weight but I've been in a long stall now. I know it's because of my eating choices. First I feel like I can eat much more than before, second I'm snacking a lot... The snack is always fruit but I'll eat some type of fruit 3-4 times a day. I'm becoming more drawn to foods I shouldn't have. Help!!!!!

I've been eating a lot more too. Stalled recently but in the gym and have seen the weight come off. I believe I'm not eating the right foods. I am going back to the shakes twice a day.

Hi everyone, Well it has been almost a year. The first 3 month I really questioned If this was the right thing to do. Now I can say it was the right thing to do. I have lost about 98 lbs and I feel much better although I am at a stand still again I want to get below 200 lbs. My Dr wants me to lose about 50 lbs ,but I am not sure I want to lose that much. I know I am snacking too much and drinking with my meals. I have been thinking about going back on shakes also to get the weight to start dropping again and get below 200 before my next Dr. visit this month. Would like to hear how all our April people are doing

Oh guys, our 1 year anniversary is coming up soon, this year went by soooo fast. Such a ride whoooh!

I am in a long stall too, and I also do not always make the right choices. In fact I just had a small piece of KitKat! (no dumping here!!!) 1 year anniversary makes me nervous and makes me feel bad coz I am not at goal and I thought I will be :( I know I have to watch what I eat and I have to work out to drop the last 30 pounds. Well, lets do this together, we can do this, one last push ladies and that's all! Hmmm I feel a bit embarrased for not being at goal yet... -_-

We do need to push each other!!! I need some motivation! Once you see the weight coming off and you start getting compliments it's easy to get complacent. I know I need a big kick in the booty to get back on track.

It is good to see more people posting updates. I have been on a slow and steady course and would like to loose just a few more pounds to put me at a normal BMI. I am stilled considered overweight for my height. Good luck to all of you as we approach the first year anniversary!

I agree, we need to do something, I mean I am stalling for like 2 months already and nothing seems to work - then again I have not tried yet going back to basics. I am really considering doing that. Just do the shakes in the morning and start to log my calories again coz let's face it, it did work, and now I need all the help I can get.

Any suggestion how could we motivate eachother?

I could start a Facebook group for us to communicate and keep tracking

I am in!!!! That would be great! I do not want any competition, that would put unwanted pressure on all of us, but we have to be accountable...? And exchange ideas! And yes, I spend much more time on FB then here, so a group would be great, please make it a secret group, thanks! <3

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
