I got sleeved 3 days ago. I had all the panic attacks and a good one about an hour before surgery. I thought about canceling too because this was my third scheduled date but I thought of the year long

I'm not sure what sorts of ideas you are looking for, but I'll take a stab at it.... First of all, CUT THE CARBS. Don't eat crackers with your tuna, they are useless nutrition-wise, will make you c

So awesome!!! I hit onederland tooo Isn't it a great feeling!! My next goal is to make it to 100 pounds lost!! My surgery was 4/23!!!

. Awesome!! Way to go!! My goal is 20 pound increments!! My weight goal is 125 so I have a ways to go. The doc says I can lose about 60 to 65 more pounds before April and the rest will be extremely hard but I can do it!

I just had my 3 month post op appt ( surgery was on April 30) I'm down 92 lbs!!! My starting weight was 402 and now I am 310!!!! My surgeon told me he looks for me to lose another 90 lbs by the end of next April !!! Super excited!!!

My personal trainer just came by to take measurements and percentages - in the last year, on top of losing 96 pounds (so far), I've lost over 25 inches around my whole body and I've dropped 8% in body fat just since May. What a great way to start the day!! Happy Thursday everyone!

Hi all,

I'm looking to sell my fitbit flex and additional bands pack. The total cost was $145 and I'm looking to get $100. The fitbit is only 2 months old and 2 of the bands have never been taken out of the package!! Direct message me if you're interested or have any questions! Thanks!

Why r u wanting to sale just curious cause I have been wanting one or the fit bit one? Thanks!

I bought one in January and then something happened and fitbit was amazing and replaced it. Recently I've gotten really into spin and it doesn't track that so I use a heart rate monitor only. It was amazing though, I really liked it when I was using it

Ok guys back for a quick check in. Glad to see everyone doin so well! Here's my update...Surgery 4/23, weighing 282 and I thought it was 277 but either way, my highest was 290 and fluctuated between 275-285 before surgery with my food funerals. Currently at 218, loss of 72. It has been a slow crawl because of ME, I don't track Protein as much because I'm just trying to eat most days. I don't get in my Water as much either. I miss my Vitamins, Calcium and B12 often, I hate pills!! I thought I could just deal with it but the more normal I felt, the less I took. I never miss the protonix for reflux, I live by those but they don't really work...need something stronger.

Please don't do anything mentioned above. I have never felt so weak and sick to my stomach ever! My bones pop and crack and make a me hurt as of recent. Causes me to put off my workouts, I could have lost more as I'm a workout buff but lately, no energy, sore body and sickly tummy are making me go back to basics. Tracking, water, counting, pills and workouts!

Lastly my reflux has almost ended my life on numerous occasions. I now get a buildup in my throat that chokes me half to death every night. I wake up choking on Fluid and have to really manipulate my breathing to not choke to death. I have an emergency Upper GI scheduled for tmrw and after that a possible endoscopy. Keep u posted!

What's your update?????

I have recently stopped tracking food...I knew I didn't want this to be "another diet" and didn't want to track everything I put in my mouth as I tend to get obssesive. We will see how the no tracking goes...I will go back to it if I start gaining.

I also promised myself to not freak out over stalls and, in general, I have been good at this...I still weigh every day and my weight loss looks like the dreaded "stair steps"...down a little, then stall, down a little more, then stall. I know this is normal.

I am loving my new confidence, I change clothes several times a day just because I can!, I bought and have worn my first bikini ever and don't give a rat's a$$ what my saggy skin looks like! So glad I took the leap of faith and had this surgery! I know I am going to struggle, but am looking forward to struggles that aren't weight obsessive...I have spend 40 some-odd years with nothing in my brain but my weight, food and my appearance...it's time to start living and experiencing life's ups and downs without that monkey on my back!

*Off my blood pressure meds with normal BPs

*Lipid panel normal (I went from a heart attack risk of twice the average person, to now half the average person)

*All labs normal, no deficiencies! (I take my vitamins! )

I eat good food, just not much of it and i never have room for dessert (which is a good thing). Tonight i made BBQ chicken pizza. I made mine on a small, low-carb tortilla and ate half. It was delicious! For Breakfast i eat greek yogurt or eggs or high Protein oatmeal or a Protein shake, I'm used to it and enjoy those things. I break it up by adding various toppings, flavorings, etc. It's nice to eat a little bacon and not have to worry about my cholesterol. I take my lunch to work; lunchmeat and cheese rollups, grilled chicken, tuna salad, half an avocado, cherry tomatoes with fresh mozzarella and basil, cottage cheese with various toppings, cheese sticks, nuts, Protein Bars....that kind of stuff. I feel great and get compliments all the time.

The sleeve is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Wish i had done it much sooner!

It's so exciting... I went out and found a beautiful dess off the rack at the bridal boutique for my sons wedding in October!! Waiting a little bit to do alterations! Haha hoping to drop 11 more pounds by the wedding but we'll see.

Have had absolutely NO issues at all. Never been sick... Never had a bad reaction to food... Only tylonol cold once right after surgery. Wish I did it years ago!! Best thing I have ever done for myself! Woot!!

Hello All,

Its been a while... I have been feeling better than ever and would do this again in a heart beat! I am currently at 186 pounds. I was 259 when I went into surgery on April 20, 2014. :-( I started running about 3 months ago and I feel in love with it. I guess it gets easier the less you weigh!LOL I hope to hear how everyone is doing. I have attached a before and after picture.Till next time....
