I wanted to share with you guys my approval experience. I was extremely pleased to receive approval in 2 days. My paperwork was sent to the insurance on Monday and I received the call on Wednesday. Woohoo!!!!!! I am now scheduled for surgery on April 22 and I am so excited. :-) Best of luck to all!!!!

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing great. I have reached my goal of 145 pounds. Yeah!!!! I had an arm lift and breast lift with implants last Thursday. I am a bit overwhelmed with all the scars and cuts but again my arms and boobs look so much better. I am praying that with time my scars will look a lot better. My weight loss has slowed down a lot. If you hit a stall just keep pushing on. Eventually your body will do its thing. I will keep everyone posted with the results of my surgery.

Hello all, I was sleeved 4/23 SW 259 CW 157 I have not posted in this group for a while but I wanted to take the time and say GREAT JOB EVERYONE! This has been a hard but very rewarding journey! I am happy with my results. I am a much happier person and most importantly a more active mom of 3 beautiful little girls. I cant believe how much my life has changed since I made the decision to take this step. I am now training for a half marathon race in March. 13.1 Miles to be exact!! Wowers! I cant believe I am going for it but I have confidence that I can accomplish this big goal!! :-) I am so close to my goal but this last few pounds seem impossible to loose. Does anyone have any suggestions that can help? I look forward to hearing from ya'll soon! Good luck to everyone!

Hello All, Its been a while... I have been feeling better than ever and would do this again in a heart beat! I am currently at 186 pounds. I was 259 when I went into surgery on April 20, 2014. :-( I started running about 3 months ago and I feel in love with it. I guess it gets easier the less you weigh!LOL I hope to hear how everyone is doing. I have attached a before and after picture.Till next time....

Would this be ok to have during your pure diet?

A it ok to use Splenda during your full liquid diet?

I am in my full liquid diet until the end of next week. ???? I'm not sure how I am going to handle this it is getting extremely hard. I would like something solid to eat!!! Does anyone have this problem? How do you overcome it? HELP!!!

So I'm going back to work today! Bitter sweet moment. My only concern is that getting ready in the morning took all the energy out of me. How am I going to face an 8 hr day? Well here I go!!

Here is my question. Could I eat French onion soup as long as I take the onions out and the cheese? What do y'all think?

Surgery was April 22nd. Today is marks a week after surgery. It's been a week filled with ups and downs. But all worth it. I'm so happy about the results. Stats below. Starting weight 256 Pre op 249 One week 235.2 Total loss so far 20.8!! Woo hoo!!!!!! ☺️

How long did you wait before returning to work?

I'm only a week out and I feel pretty good. I'm thinking about returning to work Wednesday. Is this to early? What are your thoughts? I work at an elementary school so it's not hard work.

@ Ang6904. My surgery was on April 22 as well. Have you tried to suck on a popsicles, chicken noodle broth, jello. That worked for me. Pain wise how Are you feeling? Keep positive thoughts you will get over this hump. Best of luck?

How to deal with others eating around you? It's been a hard road and I'm just stating. I understand that everyone else will be hungry but that didn't help. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Specially for the next 3 to 4 weeks?

Today I feel a lot better. I am on day 4 since my sleeve and it does get better. I haven't weight myself yet I will be doing so at one week. Overall my incisions are healing nicely. They do feel sore at times specially when I move. I'm taking this journey one day at a time. I have been feeling Bit of pressure around between my chest area. Does anyone have the same thing? Is it normal? It usually happens after I drink. Hope everyone is doing well.

Here we go!! I am currently in the hospital and it's not so bad. It's actually pretty easy which scares me because it might just be the wonderful meds they give me. Lol. I go home later today and have been doing lots of walking. I have felt gas pains and I agree with everyone they really suck. overall the drinking water hurts a bit but not as bad as I thought!!! I hope I made sense since writing this half asleep. :-) hope everyone has a blessed!

What a day it has been!! I have been having extreme nausea! This is more like dry heaves but is till pretty painful. I had to stay one more day in the hospital to insure I was able to keep liquids down. I seriously thought to myself why would I put myself through this. ???? But then I thought of the overall goal! We can do this. I am thankful to have the support of my family and this site. I have found so may good people with great advice. Good luck to all the April sleevers.

I am also scheduled for surgery on April 22nd and starting my one week liquid diet tomorrow. Can anyone offer any advise on how to not fall for temptation. Specially this Easter. ????
