I would have a list of things ready: what is his pre and post-op diet requirements. How long will he have you in the hospital? How many sleeve WLS surgeries has he done? His complication rate? Does he have any patients you can speak with? Does he have support groups you can join? What is the after care offered by him? How long does he expect you to be off of work?

I'm sure there are a whole bunch more but those are some I asked my surgeon.
