#7 I feel bad at times for lying to them about the procedure. They know i'm surgery but they don't know for what though. They think i'm getting something repaired and don't have to explain much.

Hi Ladies,

I am so with you girls on this subject. I've chosen to keep this matter to myself as well. None of my family is aware. My reason, the support I'm looking for is not what they can give me so I've chosen to let people know that I know will stand with me on this. Whether it's because of their own experience or they are just my ride or die no matter what people. Sometimes, that's not always family.

I'm drinking the Bariatric fusion. French vanilla, it's ok. Per one of nurses I've been adding sugar free Hershey's Syrup. And it's ok but 6 oz..geez. Babies drink more than that, lol

I'm day two and I'm doing ok right now. I really like the EAS. It's only 100 calories and when frosty it goes down easy

I really hate that hubby is not backing your decision. That's definitely not a stress you need right now. Especially doing this pre op.

Lol. Sabrine are you on all Protein all day or are you able to do a small meal? I start Monday but it's all protein for a week. We can have one apple orange or banana the 1st few days but that's it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
