Throwing up, band has not slipped

For the past several weeks I have been throwing up more often. I have terrible burning in my throat. I have eaten slowly, less portions, ect. I do not know if this is acid reflux or what. I am becoming quite concerned because I do not want to eat anything anymore. I have notified my doc and they set me up for a UGI test. I did the test and my band has not slipped, thank God. But at this point I do not know what to do. Maybe just get some fluid out? What are good OTC acid meds to take? My surgeon is 6hours away and I haven't gotten the help/advice i expect from them. I know I'm not supposed to be throwing up at all so I'm kind of frazzled by this. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

I took Prilosec when I had reflux. Don't know how I ever lived without it.
