I'm on day four of my preop liquid diet. I've not had that many cravings. Luckily one of my medications makes me kind of nauseous and suppresses my appetite which has helped. I have had almost a constant headache and I feel almost flu like, tired and achy. I can deal with all that though.

But the weird thing is my sense of smell has been on over drive. Has this happened to anyone else? In my bathroom I can smell the medicine my husband took before he left for work 8 hours ago. I can smell my glass of orange juice that's sitting next to me and I think I smelled everyone's lunch with in a 30 foot radius at work the past few days. It's not really annoying, just kind of funny. If someone didn't know I was getting ready for this surgery, they'd probably thing I'm pregnant. Has this happened to anyone else?

The achyness could be from a carb withdrawal. As far as the smell, I don't know. Maybe it's the medication?
