  2. Lol I feel like if you let it sit in your mouth for a bit and let it lose the carbonation it's not too bad

  5. I'm worried about this I had the sleeve March 3rd and it seems like I've been able to eat more than I used too. I haven't been perfect, I've overeaten and cheated with some carbonated drinks. But it hasn't been everyday, not even once a week. I just feel like 2 months surgerversity isn't long enough to stretch my pouch.

  13. i was also told a half hour before and after, but like already mentioned its meant so that you don't wash your food through.
  14. I always remind myself that its not stomach hunger but head hunger. That and Water. Somedays are better than others. But as long as you don't make yourself sick, just try and do better next time.

  16. I did the same thing like 3 weeks after surgery, I walked around for like a half an hour, and everything worked itself out. I hope you feel better.
  17. I also dropped 10 pant sizes, it's pretty crazy. My hunger is a head game for me, my stomach isn't hungry but my head is. So I have to tell myself that I don't need this/that. I graze to, but it's a journey though, I'm not going to beat myself up over it.
  18. Unfortunately AtlanticCare support group is when work.
  19. Yeah, unless you're into self torture, you're better off not weighing yourself everyday. I do it like every week and even then I think its a lot. I think using your clothes and body measurements is a better way to keep track. BTW month old sleever from Atlantic City Area. Friend me if you want. Sorry JerseyGirl, I just had my first stall, I dropped 50lbs and then it stopped I got a little frustrated. I think the fact that this is only a weightloss tool, and not a magic bullet is sinking in.
  20. Now that someone mentioned it, I've noticed alot more sneezing. Weird
  21. I think what helps me is that aslong as I stop myself before that painful feeling I don't get as much of the guilt cause not feeling sick is small victory within itself. I'm also only at a month past surgery. So I think those goals will get stricter.
  22. I've always have been a big dude, but after I got diagnosed with diabetes, I couldn't take care of myself. I would do well with my injections and taking my medications for a little bit but then I would stop caring. Eventually my blood work came back that I had kidney damage and thats when that was it. I work in a field where i see alot of people who don't take care of themselves, and I would see people blind and missing limbs due to diabetes. I didn't want to end up like that. But other things always bothered me were, not being able to fit in rides, always being self conscious about eating in front of people, fitting in planes, movie theater seats etc.
  23. I'm currently 1 month past surgery, and lost 50lbs. That pre op diet was probably the worst though. Thanks for the help tho anyone have any questions feel free to ask.
