I'd also like to be able to fly on an airplane again, or sit comfortably on a train, or just in a movie theater... I'd like to go rappelling again and have a harness that fits me....

Lose my back fat/love handles

Incorporate jogging in my fitness regimen

Walk without my thighs rubbing together

Wear shorts and tank tops this summer

Get down to a size 6/8 in jeans

Be able to get off my blood pressure meds for good

Wear sun dresses without looking pregnant

Get rid of my muffin top when I wear pants

Like someone said above....stop having to adjust my clothes because they are riding up my stomach or fitting too snug

I love this tread.

Sit in a booth without my stomach touching the table (achieved).

Bend down and tie my shoes (achieved).

Walk up stairs without feeling like I am going to die ( in progress).

Give myself a pedicure with out straining

(achieved).

Dance without sweat pouring down my face (I haven't tried this yet).

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
