I have been overweight for almost my entire life. Its my biggest dream, goal, desire to become thin and fit! I have tired every diet known to woman and ive never able to keep it off! A friend of mine at work did the sleeve a little over a year ago and lost 150 pounds with Dr Walton. I had never heard of the VSG until recently. I went for my first consult in December 2013. Iam right at a 40 BMI with mild sleep apnea. My insurance denied me. Saying they have an exclusion policy on all bariatric surgeries. I have BCBS of Oklahoma. So I guess I will have to pay cash or finance. At this rate it will be awhile before I can come up with the money! Im hopeing/praying for a july/august surgery date
