nervous about stomach pain

Hi guys, I'm 8 days post op and I'm having a really interesting pain in my stomach. The pain is kind of like what you feel when you bend or twist you abdominal muscles and you get that twinge where you can almost feel the internal stiches. But after eating a little cream soup the pain is the same but instead of a twinge it's more like throbbing now. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I be nervous?

OMG... I hated that pain. It goes away. I remember complaining about it at my one week follow up and the Physician Assistant said that the stomach is in shock because it has to figure out how to do same work it used to being 85% its size. Your stomach will finally adjust. I think those pains subsided by week 2 post op (for me at least). I am almost 3 weeks post op and I don't have them anymore... If you eat too much in one sitting though the restriction you will feel will be similar to those pains. Try to stop eating as soon as you feel the slightest restriction.

OMG I'm day 11 post op and that same kinda pain hit me today too! Thank you for posting this. It made me feel so much better knowing it normal. I was starting to get a little freaked out since it has stayed with me all day. I even took a pain med. I've been off those for a week.

Do you guys notice it when you eat? I just ate a little sugar free pudding and it comes in and out as I swallow
