Fighting Cancer and the Band

I am a cancer survivor, there is a very good chance that i will develop another tumor within the next year which could require me to have additional surgery and treatments such as Chemo or Radiation.

Am I crazy for having the band installed now? I know I can get a de-fill so I can eat more when I would need to during treatments but is cancer and the band a good mix?

Anyone out there have the band and are fighting cancer?

    if anything being at a healthier weight will help you fight the cancer when and if another tumor appears. I'd do it.

    Have you talked to your lapband doctor and oncologist about it?
